Courses, Dates and Fees
Our standard Italian courses are comprised of 26 lessons per week. Each lesson is one hour. On your first day you will take an assessment test so we can place you in a class with the right linguistic level (from beginners to advanced).
Small classes enable us to make use of modern communicative methods of language teaching. However we still include older proven language teaching methods where appropriate.
Our aim is to get you speaking Italian irrespective of your current level. To help you to achieve this, our classes include a broad range of activities including; grammar, conversation, analysis and discussion of literary texts and newspaper articles, listening comprehension, group work, lexical and phonetic development, and viewing of Italian films.
Throughout the group lessons, your progress will be carefully monitored.

Course Dates and Prices 2012
The school is open all year, from January to December except on the following dates: from December 23 to January 8, Easter Monday, April 25 (Liberation Day), May, 1 (Labour Day), June 2 (Republic Day), July 25 (San Cristoforo, Patron Saint of Urbania), August, 15 (Assumption), 1 November (All Saints), December 8 (Immaculate Conception).
PRICES FOR LANGUAGE COURSE 2012
1 week language course: Euro 440,00
The course includes 26 lessons and one of the following choices:
- 5% discount (or 15% discounts for ex-course members), from the weekly price (only for the first week)
- one evening cooking course (http://www.scuola-italia.com/art-food-culture/italian-cooking-course.html)
- 2 individual lessons. Each lesson is for one hour. The teachers' availability is completely flexible according to the student's linguistic needs.
Additional weeks: Euro 190,00 per week. Each additional week includes 26 lessons.
THE PRICE FOR THE COURSE also includes:
- Teaching materials for your study.
- Information on the town and its surroundings.
- Guided visits in Urbania for example; Ducal Palace – Palazzo Ducale, The Theatre - Teatro Bramante, Parochial Museum, demonstration by local ceramicists, Mummies etc).
- The school also provides assistance to the students in helping to arranging travel within Italy, (booking hotels, car and bicycle hire, taxis and hints for residence permits).
