Daily Schedule
Meeting at the Palazzo Comunale
Thursday, June 7 at 3:00 pm, to welcome the students and to introduce the teachers and staff. There will be a guided tour of the town and an assessment test to sort students into the correct levels of Italian language classes. Afterwards, accompanists and musical directors will meet.
Movement Class and Excursion
Friday, June 8 at 10:00 am, Werner Pichler will offer a Movement Class in the Zuccari Theatre and in the afternoon, there will be an excursion to Urbino, site of the historic Ducal Palace.
Preparation for the Auditions
Saturday, June 9, singers will meet with their accompanists to practice for the auditions that take place Sunday.
Auditions
Sunday, June 10, beginning at 3:30 pm at the Zuccari Theatre.
Classes start
Monday, June 11, at 9:00 am to 12:15 pm with a break of 20 minutes.
Language Course Monday - Friday
9:00 am - 12:15 pm Italian Language Course and Diction Training
2:15 pm - 7:30/8:00 pm Voice Lessons, Opera Staging Rehearsals, Musical Coachings (Italian repertoire), Stage
Movement, and Master Classes
Master Class
Master class begins at 3:30 with William Matteuzzi on Saturday, June 16 at the Zuccari Theatre.
Concerts
Students will perform in two public concerts during the four weeks of our program.
Saturday - Sunday
Dress Rehearsal and/or Excursions.
Saturday, June 23
Excursion to the beach in Pesaro (hometown of G. Rossini), where the prestigious lyrical event, the Rossini Opera Festival, is held annually.
